​​The spokesperson for the University of Cincinnati and all-around Renaissance Man, Hand has a passion for science. From geology to astronomy, he's written about it all, and lectured about most of it. too. Watch out contestants. this judge is hard to impress.

As a curator of invertebrate paleontology at the Cincinnati Museum Center and an adjunct professor at the University of Cincinnati, Hunda brings years of experience on the public lecture circuit to her deliberations. Make no bones about it, she will judge fairly.​

She is an environmental scientist and an assistant professor of bio geochemistry at the University of Cincinnati. Townsend-Small isn't afraid to get her hands dirty as she tracks projects around the globe. She promises to be encouraging to all participants.
